Mélanie Panaget, traveling artist, is creating a project in 2018 around the idea of ‘freedom’, where the different trajectories of her rich and atypical background intersect. She chose to surround herself with two talented musicians, Guillaume Chosson on cello and Hamid Gribi on percussion.
A free vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (Indian harmonium, saz), Mélanie PANAGET is always on the lookout for musical freedom and new sounds, moving between the worlds of traditional music (India, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, etc.) and free improvisation, which is more contemporary and experimental.
She also offers her own compositions, based on her own texts in French or on poems by contemporary female authors in Hindi.
